The Hong Kong Palace Museum and the Palace Museum in Beijing jointly launched their first collaborative multimedia exhibition, "Patterns of Civilization." Using traditional Chinese patterns as a narrative thread, the exhibition traces visual languages across imperial architecture, ceramics, and textiles, re-contextualizing ancient history for a modern audience through immersive digital technology.

The scale of this cultural collaboration demanded absolute technical precision. To manage the complexity of multiple interactive zones and 3D mapping on non-linear surfaces, a distributed hardware architecture was implemented. This setup ensured stable, high-fidelity playback across the entire gallery simultaneously.

For the centerpiece bowl-shaped installation, 3D Mapping was utilized to achieve precise alignment between the virtual imagery and the physical structure, covering both interior and exterior surfaces. The hecoos and Hirender systems handled the rendering of complex spatial depth, transforming the gallery into a layered, three-dimensional environment.

The integration of these systems allowed for a fully responsive visitor experience, providing a stable platform for 11 million pixels of heritage content to run without interruption.
